We are building “co-existence bots” — independent, self-sustaining robots that live alongside us. Our first robot will be a solar-powered robot we intend for learning kits that can help individuals build their first robots. We already have a working prototype that can autonomously roam indoors to search for light sources strong enough to charge its solar panels. The robot runs on a low-power microcontroller, yet is strong enough to utilize machine vision for light detection and object avoidance.
We still need more time to iterate on the robot, build learning mateirals, and prepare to formally announce our project to the world.
